6 months agoWaited an ungodly amount of time for 3 tacos to go. I was the only one in line. Waited almost 25mins for 3 potato egg and cheese. Paid $16. Tortillas were very dry and food was below average. The only reason I believe this place is in business, is due to the lack of options. Will never return.

8 months agoExcellent restaurant. The food is very well prepared, and the enchiladas are delicious. The staff who served us were very friendly. I recommend it; a good stop. Hablan Español.

a year agoGreat small town diner. The food was flavorful and the chips and salsa were on point. The staff and service was top notch. Worth the trip to Batesville!

2 years agoThis place was a 4 rated restaurant. Maybe for locals because it's pretty much the only restaurant in town right off highway 90 by Batesville Texas. I wanted to chicken fried steak and like everywhere I go I have to tell them that I am allergic to shellfish. Waitress came back and said all is fried in the same oil. Keep that in mind for those of you who are also allergic. I then ordered the guisado plate. The guisado itself was good but the beans and rice were dry and not too tasty. Sad but never again. 😞

5 years agoDon't judge the book by its cover! Food was very flavorful and filling, the waitresses were attentive. Would definitely recommend, i most likely would go again when in town.

6 years agoOrder the fish plate it’s huge. We had to wait a bit for our food we watched people come in eat and leave before we got our food. Other than that give it a try if you are driving through like me.
